Our story

We sell the most bed wedges of any other UK company. It is kind of our thing. We thought our American friends were missing out so now we are bringing them (and their many health benefits) directly to the American people.

We handmake all our bed wedges in our factory which is situated between the sea and a national park in the British countryside. We even have sheep surrounding us at certain times of the year. Our company is family run (now into the 2nd generation). We cut and hand-sew all our pillows in-house keeping British manufacturing alive.

Since 1979 Putnams has been manufacturing comfort products. The business was established in London making the iconic Black Cab taxi seats with improved ergonomic support. In the early 90's the husband and wife team (James & Katie Putnam) relocated to Devon to build a factory and expand the product offering to back supports, pillows and more.
